Turned Bamboo Mirror
|
Brighton Pavilion Nightstand
|
| Slim, fit-anywhere proportions make our mirror perfect for
freshening up the powder room. Its graceful, metal bamboo branches are
finished with gold leaf for a warm, low luster. Detailed and
distinctive, this mirror is also ideal in an entryway |
Drawn from an 18th-century English design, the curvaceous lines of
our mirror resemble the shape of a pagoda - the intricate turnings mimic
the look of bamboo. Made of resin and finished in black with hand-gilded
gold leaf |
With flared legs and moldings that are handcarved to resemble
bamboo, this collection captures the exotic style of 18th-century
chinoiserie furniture |

Iron Bamboo Magazine Rack
|
| Stick to Asian-inspired decor with the Bamboo wall mirror.
Bronze-colored metal banded like the plant winds up and around beveled
glass. A round loop breaks up the streamlined design for easy hanging |
Hand painted and gently distressed to reveal hints of gold, this rack
has a rich patina that complements its classic bamboo motif. The
cast-iron frame ensures stability |

Nakashima Straight Backed Chair |
Summa Tray Table |
| Presenting a very special re-introduction: the Nakashima
Straight-Backed Chair (1948), designed by George Nakashima for Knoll.
Nakashima was an MIT-trained architect who was known to describe himself
as Japanese Shaker. |
Whether being used as seat, serving space or footstool, the Summa
Tray Table (1993) is solidly constructed and eminently versatile. Made
of solid ash wood with a choice of finishes, the Summa's legs have a
soft, elegant curve. The tray is removable and can be used separately
for serving, while the base becomes a handy footstool. |
